Just take a Look

Just take a Look

Poppies, daisies and perfect

Snow white roses,

Their subtle sweet fragrance

Gently tickle our noses.

On the mountain by the mill

Under the tree on Strawberry Hill

Running beside the silver brook

They exist, you know. Just take a look.

The flowers in summer

Whilst they’re in full bloom

A million heavenly petals,

Enough to fill a room

When April comes again

And we’re coming into spring

We soon realise that

New growth shall soon begin.
