CHRISTMAS REFLECTIONS
A Christmas tree adorned with trinkets,
Silver tinsel glittering like frost.
Fairy lights sparkle and twinkle,
A glow of candles for travellers lost.
When all the children are fast asleep,
Santa with a beard of snowy white
Hitches up his sleigh and reindeer,
Soars through the sky into the night.
Turkey, cooked roast and ham
Mince pies, a glass of wine,
Christmas cake, and plum pudding,
A feast for all to dine.
Crackers pulled with gusto,
Break with a mighty crack.
Inside a motto and a hat
And a piece of bric-a- brac.
Nativity scenes, Christmas Carols,
An Angel, a star and good cheer.
Reminds us why we celebrate,
Christmas day, year after year.
