‘It’s a Sunday Thing’
Where is God Hiding?
I search for him in prayerful lamenting
Like a child looks for its mother
When it hurting
Often I don’t find him there
Yet He comes and finds me in the breaking of bread
Sometimes I don’t see
He has found me…until
Hindsight reveals He has sent you to me
In plain sight He hides
In the pleasure of a friendship shared
In the rainbow hue that paints the heavens
Showing us the storm is passing
In the tenderness of a first time kiss
Or in the soft touch of a baby’s hand
Patting his father’s six o’clock shadow
In plain sight He hides
I have found Him in you
When you voiced your concern for me
You have found Him in me when
Together in prayerful harmony we share
