Who owns my life? Is it me or ‘them?
Is it my wife who puts me to bed?
ensuring the pillow right for my head
Who owns my life?
Is it the carers who come in every day
to wash me, dress me and help me to shave
Is it the taxi driver with a ramp for my wheelchair
Or the doctor that gives me medication and care
to bear this terrible life I find myself in
depending each day on the kindness of kin
Who owns my life?
If it’s me can I please be permitted
to end my life by my own means and time
an answer to my prayers for release I beg

My body, my mind belong to me
A bit of medication I keep back every time
The right to die with dignity is mine to decide

is assisted dying murder or suicide.??? a very good question . technically, people on morphine, are being assisted to die. but its classed as medical therefore according to our laws, its right and legal .
